Principal Investigator (PI) Qualifications

You qualify if you are one of the following at a U.S. institution: You do NOT qualify if you are:
  1. Researcher or educator
  2. Qualified advisor serving in the capacity of a principal investigator (PI)
  3. Postdoctoral researcher

These highly competitive requests are oriented towards publicly available and broadly used community collections (often but not necessary coupled with compute allocations). Collections that do not satisfy eligibility requirements and selection criteria—and therefore are not eligible for the available limited complimentary resources—may apply for storage via a recharge mechanism.
