The data storage and usage, access methods algorithms and techniques to be employed to accomplish the stated research objectives should be reasonably justified. While accomplishing the stated objectives is important, proposers must consider the various methods available and use that which is best suited.
Appropriate Use of Resources
The resources chosen must be an appropriate match for the applications and methodologies to be used and must be in accordance with the recommended usage guidelines for the requested resources.
Efficient Use of Resources
The resources selected must be used as efficiently as is reasonably possible. To support this, information on required performance and expected access patterns should be provided for all data and collections to be stored and used along with a discussion of any work done or planned to improve the efficiency of the data use.
